CVC sportsmanship awards

UPPER FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP - A pair of athletes from each of the 13 Colonial Valley Conference schools were honored yesterday as third annual sportsmanship award winners.

During a ceremony at Cream Ridge Golf Club, they were recognized for leadership, sportsmanship and overall role models. Each CVC athletic director nominated one male and one female winner for their respective school.

The honorees were Matt Schottlander and Maria Weisz of Allentown, George Rose and Sue Carpenter of Ewing, Dennis Alexander and Angel Dolina of Hamilton, Greg Scheman and Jenna Christie of Hightstown, Greg Carver and Lauren Eleuteri of Hopewell Valley, Jared Husch and Theresa Gregory of Lawrence, Steven Myers and Meghan Nanfeldt of Notre Dame, and Desi Fioranvanti and Jessica Foley of Nottingham.

Also, Robert Jones and Kia Anderson of Princeton, Daniel Brackley and Claudia Cala of Steinert, Michael Doyley and Lanese Douglas of Trenton, Michael Pilgrim and Gretchen Keiling of West Windsor-Plainsboro North, and Adam Lewis and Joanne Pojuner of West Windsor Plainsboro HS South
