Pete Richardson Tribute Page

Longtime Lou Gehrig and Senior Babe Ruth umpire Pete Richardson passed away recently. For those who have come in contact with Pete, this is a time of great sorrow..

As an umpire, I will always remember how he would tip his cap to confirm that I had given the correct count. As a Coach, I will always remember how he loved to work with the kids, and help them to understand how to play baseball the right way. As an Administrator, I will always appreciate that for an important game, Pete Richardson was the umpire you wanted. As a friend, I will always remember how much Pete smiled when he saw you.

It has been an honor to know Pete, and I hope that everyone remembers him with as much joy as I do.
