Richard G. Treadway Sr.

HAMILTON - Richard G. Treadway Sr., 75, died Wednesday at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Philadelphia.

Born in Trenton, he lived in Yardville most of his life.

Mr. Treadway had been a scout for the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. He was a member of the Delaware Valley Umpires Association and was an umpire at varsity high school baseball games throughout Mercer County.

He was a master mason and former exalted ruler of Mount Moriah F&AM, Bordentown.

Husband of the late Mary Lou Treadway, he is survived by six children and their spouses, Richard G. Jr. and Barbara Treadway of Alloway, Guy and Maureen Treadway of Beverly, Donna and Roland Bittle of Mount Holly, Lori Cenneno of Burlington, Lynda and Anthony Cenneno of Burlington and Ty Treadway of Santa Monica, Calif.; and eight grandchildren, Ben, Grace and Connie Treadway, Steven and Andrew Bittle, Valerie Villanueva and Michael and Stephanie Cenneno.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 S. Broad St.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with a masonic service by Mount Moriah Lodge.
